The British Science Association have teamed up with JobTarget to create a new science communication vacancies page – we hope it'll complement the ads that go on here and Jo's posterous.

And as we also get a lot of enquiries from young people at school & college about how to start out in science communication, we’ve started developing a careers section to go along with it: http://www.britishscienceassociation.org/british-science-association/careers

A number of you have already contributed to it either with ideas, or by featuring on the career profile pages - so thank you! It’s still in its infancy, and we’ll be looking to add far more to its scope over the coming year. If you have ideas, questions, or want to get involved with helping us create content for it, please get in touch.
 
We’re also going to use the careers section to share resources for practising science communicators – including a new CPD portal launching next year. Again, ideas or contributions are very welcome – we’d love to hear what you think! And If you’re recruiting and want to list a job on the board, our partnership with JobsTarget means we have a number of free listings that we can give away.
