The next Centre for Public Engagement seminar, “Participatory arts techniques for engagement with health sciences”, will take place on the 25th of November from 2:30pm  to 3:30pm, in the Maths Lecture Theatre at Mile End (London).

Alistair Campbell, a Reader in the School of English and Drama will showcase a range or participatory drama techniques which have been used in several interdisciplinary engagement projects ranging from collaborative research with dentists and school children to working with local LGBT elders. Alistair will talk about the ways that the techniques can help facilitate engagement with an audience, and will share exercises which can be used in any setting. He will also cover his experience of interdisciplinary engagement, working with academics from different Schools and Faculties across Queen Mary.
