The British Library kindly welcomes PILAS members again this year for a Resources Orientation Event. The day will start at 10.30am at the British Library where librarians experts in the Latin American collection will run a session on the resources available to
Post-Graduates. The session also includes a tour of the library! After we finish there at 1.00pm, we will have time enough to walk to the British Museum and grab lunch on the way to start a tour of the Mexican collection of the British Museum at 2.00pm. At the British Museum we will be hosted by Dr. Elizabeth Baquedano. Dr Baquedano is Honorary Lecturer, Institute of Archaeology, Faculty of Social & Historical Sciences at University College, London, and also teaches at Birkbeck College.
This event is a fantastic opportunity to both learn about the resources available to postgraduates studying Latin America and a forum to meet other PILAS members!
Places for this workshop are limited, so please do let us know as soon as possible if you are interested by contacting us at[log in to unmask] or by confirming your participation in the Facebook event : https://www.facebook.com/events/251528561662294/?ref_newsfeed_story_type=regular
