Stream “Strategy Analytics”

20th IFORS Conference

Following the success of previous IFORS Conferences, we announce the 20th Conference of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies: “The Art of Modeling” which will be held in Barcelona on July 13-18, 2014.

We are pleased to invite you to take part in “Strategy Analytics” stream.
Main focus of the stream is to exchange experience about initiatives for supporting strategy using Analytics in a broader sense of the concept. Stream will serve as a perfect platform for presenting existing and planning initiatives for the role of Analytics in Strategy.

Visiting “Strategy Analytics” stream is great opportunity for you to:
- share results and experience
- invite people to join your project
- get to know about latest initiatives

We invite all researchers, academicians, practitioners,  as well as students interested in any branch of Operational Research and Analytics to participate at the stream “Strategy Analytics”  and to present their achievements. No participant can present more than one paper at the conference. Abstract submission and registration are done online, via the conference web page (www.ifors2014.org).

The following registration fees apply:
- Regular: 500 Euro (early); 600 Euro (regular); 750 Euro (late),
- Student: 300 Euro (early); 300 Euro (regular); 300 Euro (late),
- Accompanying persons: 75 Euro.
- Conference Banquet: 55 Euro

Early registration ends  February 28, 2014.

Barcelona is a dynamic, open, and inviting city, in the Mediterranean coast of Spain, which displays the characteristics of major Mediterranean cities and inherits a millenarian tradition in science, art and commerce. The venue is Barcelona International Convention Center, which was built for Barcelona’s International Cultural Forum in 2002 and counts with all the facilities to host major conferences.

The Conference Organizing and Program Committees together represent many countries from all five continents, bringing the research, applications and perspectives of their areas to this international forum. We are working to prepare an attractive scientific program covering the full spectrum of topics in our field, with a diverse and high quality number of participants sharing their knowledge and experience of operational research.
