Broadcast & Copyright
in Education
Friday 29 November 2013, 11am-3pm
The Geological Society, Piccadilly, London

The
BUFVC is holding a forum to discuss the latest updates to copyright and broadcast resources. Join us to hear how the new changes to the copyright legislation in April 2014 may affect your work with audiovisual resources, from both the point of view of a licence provider (the Educational Recording Agency) and a licence holder.

The event will also include information on how the BUFVC are making accessing broadcast data and content even easier following the latest updates to the Television and Radio Index for Learning and Teaching (TRILT) and the release of BoB National v3 – the most significant upgrade to BoB National since its release in 2009.

The forum will include important updates on BUFVC activities, current projects and new resources, as well as the BUFVC Annual General Meeting. Come along to join the discussions and network with colleagues.

The event will also end with a drinks reception to bid farewell to Luis Carrasqueiro, the BUFVC Chief Executive, who leaves the BUFVC at the end of the year.
