I thought some of you might be interested in knowing how long your recovered searches stay on the system.

Dear Tricia,

thank you for your email. I have spoken to the developer who created the script to clear the Recover Searches. He informed me that the script is set to delete Recovered Searches over 30 days old on a daily basis.

I hope this helps to answer your query.

Subject: Recovered Searches

Please, can anyone tell me how long Recovered Searches remain? I was running a training session yesterday & found I had over 1 month’s worth of Recovered Searches. Previously, I’ve had virtually nothing.

Are they deleted on a rolling basis or purged all at once? And after how long?

I keep being asked this question by users and don’t seem to be able to find out the answer.

Regards
