We have a short-term contract available for a cataloguer or metadata librarian in an academic library in Nottingham, starting ASAP. Principal responsibilities will be MARC cataloguing and classification of monographs, DVDs and other items of physical library stock using the Aleph cataloguing client. The ability to work well without close supervision, and to record and report accurately on throughput, are key advantages. Good communication skills would be a real asset. Contract is likely to be around 4 to 5 weeks in duration.
