italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies Apologies for cross-posting Call for Papers - AAIS 2014 Annual Conference, May 23-25, 2014, Zurich Exploring the Curious Life and Times of Italian Science Fiction Tradizionalmente marginale nel canone e negli studi di italianistica, la fantascienza ha compiuto anche in Italia un percorso significativo, a partire dall'invenzione del termine “fantascienza” nel 1952 alle più recenti sperimentazioni letterarie e trans-mediatiche. Il panel vuole affrontare le declinazioni e la storia della fantascienza italiana.
