Dear colleagues
This year’s Network of Industrial Economists conference is hosted by Lancaster University and will be held at the Lancaster House Hotel on December 6th, 2013. The theme of the conference is ‘Industrial
Organisation in Arts and Cultural Industries’. Details can be found from the Network of Industrial Economists website:
http://www.indecon.org/indecon/index.aspx
The link below takes attendees to the online payment system for the conference. The system is already ‘live’ so ready to take bookings.
If you require overnight accommodation there are a few options of places to stay, depending on budget:
The hotel where the conference will be held is the nicest (and most expensive):

Alternative hotel choices in the centre of Lancaster include:

The bus stop outside the indoor market to the university is only two minutes away from both of the hotels above. It will then be less than ten minute walk to the conference venue hotel.
Much more cheaply, conference rooms can be booked on campus. There are currently rooms available for the night of Thursday December 5th:

If attendees are coming by rail it is probably easiest to get a taxi from the railway station. It will take approximately 15 minutes.
Please do not hesitate to contact either local organiser if you have any queries.
We look forward to seeing you in December
Best wishes
