Dear all,

There is an opportunity for school and college teachers to spend
time (two months!) at sea on the Integrated Ocean Drilling Program ship
"JOIDES Resolution" during 2014.

Note the deadline of Friday 22nd November!

Also I am not sure what the definition of "University teacher" is in
the announcement below.

Please pass this call on to any teachers you know, or re-post it on
email lists of teachers with relevant interests.

Educators: Want to sail on the JR?  The application period is now open for
Education Officers (High school & Univ. Teachers, science
educators...) on board the JOIDES Resolution for three 2014 expeditions!

Izu Bonin Mariana Rear Arc: March 30 - May 30, 2014
Izu Bonin Mariana Arc Origins: May 30 - July 30, 2014
Izu Bonin Mariana Forearc: July 30 - September 29, 2014Deadline: 22 November, 2013
