The World Conference on Disaster Management's (WCDM) Call for Papers closes next Friday, November 29th.  If you are waiting to submit an abstract, or you know of anyone who wishes to speak at WCDM please complete your presentation submission no later than Friday November 29th.

The 24th conference and tradeshow is taking place June 15 - 18, 2014 in Toronto, Canada at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, North Building.

WCDM is proud to be the premier annual event for disaster management professionals, providing a global perspective on current issues and concerns in the industry.  The 24th WCDM will bring delegates from over 35 countries within the fields of Emergency Management, Business Continuity, Emergency Response, Risk Management, IT Disaster Recovery, Disaster Management Research, Emergency Communications, Emergency Health, Security, HR, Environmental, Community Planning, as well as for the organizations which supply and service these professions. Further, WCDM is an ideal opportunity for academics and researchers to communicate and network with these practitioners.
