Fixed Term Contract for 36 months - Job share would be considered.

You will be an enthusiastic and motivated post-doctoral researcher with experience in both academic health research and project management. With a broad range of methodological expertise you will be interested in engaging with and complementing clinical and/or public health practice to improve patient care. You will work within the CLAHRC and will be responsible with the team for research relevant to the Prevention and detection theme hosted by the University of Warwick.   You will take an active role in research development and production of the theme and it's management and day-to-day organisation.

You will have or be about to obtain a PhD and have a solid background in Health Services Research. Strong interests in conducting multidisciplinary research, methodology and or health service improvement would be advantageous. You will have very strong planning and organisational skills in health research together with an ability to plan complex projects. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral are essential.

Contract: Fixed term (part time/full time)

Salary: UCL Grade 7/8

UCL's Department of Applied Health Research is recruiting one Research Associate (part time) and two Research Associates/Senior Research Associates (full time).

Successful candidates will be working on a range of exciting new projects funded by the new NIHR CLAHRC North Thames. Projects include evaluating innovative pathways of care for people with long-term conditions; evaluation of the implementation of an organisational intervention with senior hospital leaders to develop their quality improvement strategies; and developing the research agenda of a team embedded within University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
