Bringing Graduate Attributes to Life Road Show: Discipline Perspectives on Graduate Attributes

Universities around the world are engaging in the Graduate Attribute agenda, with the aim of enhancing the education of 21st Century learners and developing highly employable graduates. Ensuring students understand and take ownership for the development of their own attributes is a challenge that must be faced for this agenda to be successful. In these interactive workshops, speakers will first present how two different universities have addressed this issue. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss what graduate attributes mean in different disciplines and how they can be evidenced in CVs and interviews. Please come prepared to discuss your own experiences with graduate attributes initiatives.

The Bringing Graduate Attributes to Life Road Show will be travelling across the UK.  You have the opportunity to attend one at one of the following universities:

22 November 2013: Oxford Brookes University (Spaces limited!  Please book by Sunday, 10 November!)

27 November 2013: Queen’s University Belfast

29 November 2013: University of Glasgow

22 January 2014: Bangor University

Registration is free of cost.  Please register for the event through the HEA.  You’ll find the information at the bottom of this page: http://www.heacademy.ac.uk/tdg/tools
