PRINCIPAL STATISTICIAN
UK/LONDON

 

Position:           Principal Statistician

Salary:             Competitive

Location:          London

Role

This global, top 20 pharmaceutical organisation currently have presence in 5 continents with over 15,000 employees worldwide. This exciting prospect will involve providing expert statistical knowledge through a variety of procedures including the design & analysis of clinical studies, acting as lead statistician on multiple projects and liaising with regulatory bodies and external partners.

 

Responsibilities include

  • Work independently on clinical studies including design, analysis and interpretation of results
  • Coordinate multiple projects and act as lead statistician on a number of studies
  • Ability to manage internal resources and external partners to ensure that project deliverables are achieved
  • Act when required as statistics representative to regulatory bodies
  • Input into standards improvements to help to enhance global data processes

Experience, Skills, Knowledge

  • Excellent statistical skills including knowledge of the clinical drug development process and associated documents.
  • Strong knowledge of ICH and FDA regulations and industry standards
  • Excellent consultative skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills managing both teams, individual tasks and multiple projects

 

Education/Qualifications

• PhD, MSc or equivalent in statistics or other related studies
