This is to attract your attention to the conference 'Optimal Decisions in Statistics and Data Analysis’ which is to be held at Cardiff University during December 16-18, 2013, see http://ssa.cf.ac.uk
The conference is organised on the occasion of the 60th birthday of Professor Anatoly Zhigljavsky.
The talks are by invitation only. The list of key-note speakers includes: Panos Pardalos (Univ. of Florida), Valerii Fedorov (Quintiles), Henry Wynn (LSE), Holger Dette (Univ. of Bohum), Werner Mueller (Univ. of Linz) and Yaroslav Sergyeev (Univ. of Calabria).

Conference fee is £100. This covers conference materials, three lunches, coffee breaks and a conference banquet on December 16.
All are welcome to attend. A poster session may be organised if is enough demand.
