I thought that in general the principles [regardless of test supplier] seem to be reasonable…………………..thought it was the sort of thing lab professionals were supposed to do??

It is interesting that the report was restricted to the NHS. I feel there is an equally important problem of independent laboratories/practitioners marketing esoteric in-house tests. I have in the past raised this with the MHRA but didn’t get any answers as to what could be done about it.
