Apologies for cross-postings Members of this list maybe interested in the summary findings of the New Urbanisms, New Citizens research project. The ESRC-funded research (at the Universities of Leeds, Leicester and Northampton) examined the experiences, issues and needs of young people [aged 9‐16] living in new and rapidly‐expanding communities in the ‘Milton Keynes ‐ South Midlands’ [MKSM] Growth Area. The project focussed on four 'sustainable communities', working with 175 children through a range of ethnographic and GIS-based research techniques.
