Hi

That mailing list thread you found is obviously very old and very out of
date. There isn't any problem with the Moodle authentication integration and
when you say problems with importing and previewing or editing suggests you
mean xerte rather than Moodle?

As Julian suggests we need more specific detail and I would suggest
itemising each issue as there may be different cause/solution for each.

I would also suggest updating to the latest code as there have been many
tweaks and additions even since the summer.

Hi Julian

That was quick! Basically, the installation seems unstable - I've had
specific problems with importing LOs and also sometimes LO will not preview
or allow editing. I could sort out a list of the problems later this week if
this would help.

What sort of problems have you had? We could do with something a bit more
specific to go on.

Dear Xerte users

The Land Based Colleges National Consortium has been using Xerte Online
Toolkits for more than a year now. Over the summer we took the plunge and
upgraded to XOT V2.0 - and since then we have had no end of trouble. The IT
specialist responsible for our Moodle-based website
<http://www.lbcnc.org.uk/moodle/> http://www.lbcnc.org.uk/moodle/ has
pointed out to me that we are still running quite an old version of Moodle
(1.9 I think). Using Google I've come across a discussion thread

which seems to suggest that we should upgrade to Moodle 2.x. Have others run
into similar problems?
