Alex,

Using PPI is an excellent suggestion. As there are 8 tasks, you gPPI would be the preferred choice. The toolbox is publicly available: www.nitrc.org/projects/gppi

Can anyone recommend a good toolbox for investigating connectivity in
SPM8? My experiment has 8 different types of blocks and I'm interested
in seeing what the hippocampus is connected to during these 8 different
blocks.

One caveat is that each subject's design matrix is unique, as the order
of the blocks is unique for each subject.

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,
Jason
