have you tried right-clicking the image in the graphics window?
Then you can choose "mm: x y z" to enter exact coordinates (see attached screenshot).

When I need to position the cross-hair at the exact position in Check Reg that always a challenge. I wondered whether there is any easy way (possibly undocumented) of making it, similar to the "Display" functionality.
