[Apologies for the cross-listing]

Dear colleagues,

We will be teaching an ATLAS.ti workshop in Manchester, England, on November the 28th and 29th.  This course will be led by Dr. Christina Silver (CAQDAS Networking Project and QDA Services) in partnership with ATLAS.ti Scientific Software.

Course Overview
ATLAS.ti is professional qualitative data analysis software. This course will provide comprehensive training and guidance in using the tool efficiently for robust analysis.

Learning outcomes
1. Understanding of the principles and architecture of ATLAS.ti and the core ways in which it can support analysis
2. Confidence in the tasks involved in setting up an ATLAS.ti HU (project) efficiently and getting started systematically
3. Experience with a range of analytic tools that support data integration, exploration, organization, reflection and interrogation

This course focuses on gaining broad familiarization with the functionality of ATLAS.ti  such that participants can develop a strategy for its use in the methodological and practical contexts of their own needs.

Teaching combines lecturing and demonstration,  hands-on work and discussion. Sample data files are provided but participants are also encouraged to bring their own research materials along to experiment with. The course is accompanied by a compressive set of learning materials and resources for on-going support.
