Taster days in Manchester (11 November) and Oxford (13 November) for staff involved in training and developing researchers. This event will focus on the newly developed freely available course: Making Your Mark - Introduction to Impact and Engagement.

Did you know that Vitae has a number training courses for you to use with your research staff? Whether you are looking for a one or two day course, or are looking for something you could run over a number of sessions, this is your opportunity to come and hear more about the range of courses on offer, and in particular to get a taste of a newly developed course: Making Your Mark - Introduction to Impact and Engagement (part of the Researcher Futures suite)

The Taster Day will aim to provide both a flavour of this new course and an overview of the programme. As a result, participants will gain an insight into the programme from the Research Staff point of view by participating in exercises run on course as well as the opportunity for facilitated discussion to provide an insight into the overall themes and process for the course.

The day is very interactive and participation from all attendees will be appreciated in order to gain the best understanding of what this course offers.

There will be the opportunity to look at the materials used on course and talk to those who have developed the course in more detail about both the process and content of the training.

In addition, you will hear about the whole range of courses available for Research Staff.
