Dear all,

I am pleased to announce that the paper submission site is now open for the 2014 International Conference on Probabilistic Methods Applied to Power Systems. A link to the submission page is available from www.dur.ac.uk/pmaps.2014<http://www.dur.ac.uk/pmaps.2014> (click on the "Author information and paper submission" tab.)

Papers are invited in IEEE conference format, with a limit of six pages (the template is linked to from the conference website.) The submission deadline is 30 November, with provisional decisions (accept/revise/reject) on 1 March and final versions due on 15 April.

PMAPS 2014 has been awarded IEEE Technical Co-Sponsorship, and after the event the presented papers will be sent to the IEEExplore archive. IEEExplore is the leading archive of technical papers in power systems and related fields, and contains all IEEE and IET journal and conference papers. Work presented at PMAPS and archived in IEEExplore will thus have the highest possible visibility to the international community.

If you have any questions on the technical programme, please email [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>

Best regards,
Chris Dent (General Chair)
Janusz Bialek (Technical Chair)
On behalf of the Organising Committee
