The size of the study (112,000 students) is impressive and differentiates this study from others. In addition to the OER statistics, some of other findings in the report  are important to the OER communities.

Educause makes these recommendations for colleges and universities. I have bolded the items that I consider especially important.

Cable, do you have further information on how OER were defined in the study? 

It is not clear to me if they were referring to OERs or merely freely available resources. The survey instrument is not appended to the report.
