INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY FOR MUSIC EDUCATION

The International Society for Music Education (ISME) will hold its World Conference in Porte Alegre, Brazil, in July 2014. The call for papers is open (deadline extended to 1 November), and you can find out more at: http://www.isme.org/presidents-welcome

The week before the main conference there are a series of more specialist seminars, which facilitate detailed exploration of different aspects of music education (including educating professional musicians, music education research, community music, early childhood music education, music and schools, music education policy, and music therapy and music medicine).
