Entry deadline: 2 December 2013
The Learning on Screen Awards are the only UK awards celebrating and rewarding moving image and related media production in learning, teaching and research.

The Awards are open to broadcasters, production companies, education institutions, museums, publishers, charities, libraries, students and any other organisation or individual producing educational media.

All shortlisted entries will be showcased at the Learning on Screen Awards ceremony at the BFI Southbank, London on Thursday 24 April 2014 in front of industry and education professionals.

Award Categories
This year the categories have been revised to reflect the growing innovations in delivery methods and production.

Broadcast Production
(General Education / Courseware & Curriculum)
Productions transmitted via any broadcast channel in the UK or beyond. This typically includes all medium to large-scale productions, broadcast to any audience size.

Non-Broadcast Delivery
(General Education / Courseware & Curriculum / Multimedia)
Content that has not been broadcast, but has been distributed to viewers or users via any other delivery platform both online and offline.

In-House Production 
(Courseware & Curriculum / General non-educational)
Productions created by an individual, team or unit that is permanently employed by a qualifying education institution.

Student Production Awards
(UG & FE / PG / Documentary)
Outstanding productions, on any theme, made by students as part of a course or training activity.
