Dear Colleagues,

 

The University of Birmingham’s College of Arts and Law is delighted to announce a range of AHRC-funded studentships for September 2014, through its involvement in the Midlands3Cities Doctoral Training Partnership (http://www.midlands3cities.ac.uk).

 

We would like to encourage applications for PhD study in the following areas:

 

Archaeology

Art History

Classics and Ancient History

Cultural Heritage

Drama and Theatre Studies

English Language and Literature

Modern Languages

Music

Law

Philosophy

Theology

 

These scholarships will enable the recipients to undertake meaningful and stimulating research under the guidance of a supportive and distinguished group of academics.
