This intriguing news item may be of interest to film-philosophers. It is from an impeccable source (Vanity Fair, France), and features an amusing photoshop portrait and fine Badiou quote as to why he wants to make a Hollywood biopic on the life of Plato (with Sean Connery as Socrates and Meryl Streep as 'Madame Platon'):
Badiou has mentioned this project in a number of his recent books. We will watch with interest how it develops.
