I have just become aware that people can apply for a lasting power of attorney online. The UK government has developed a digital service for obtaining a LPA.

I thought that this would be of interest and use to organisations that deal with clients and customers who often have uncertain or ambiguous LPAs.
I know this would help to clarify SARs and s.35(2) requests where it is uncertain if the applicant has the correct LPA or if it is valid.
