Share Academy is an Arts Council England collaborative project
between University College London (UCL), the University of the Arts London (UAL),
and London Museums Group (LMG). Its aim is to build sustainable and mutually
beneficial partnerships between the higher education sector and specialist
museums in London.
As part of the project we are offering grants of up to
£10,000 to museums and academics with UCL and UAL to develop and deliver
collaborative projects. This is a great
opportunity to share experience, knowledge, and skills between the
sectors. It is our hope that this
funding will be used to establish new relationships, explore projects that
bring mutual benefits to both the museum and HEIs, and develop longer term and
more sustainable collaborations.
To apply for a grant you must find a suitable partner and
submit an application by the 25th October 2013. If you have a project idea but are unsure of
whom to contact we may be able to help.
You can submit your idea to our team and we will try and find a
potential partner you can contact.
More information on the grants and guidance on the application process can be found here: http://bit.ly/11Zo8qt
Further information on the Share Academy project can be
