The Cinema and Television History (CATH) Research Centre in De Montfort University’s new Leicester Media School is offering a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join our team. The VC's Lectureships at De Montfort
University are in nominated areas of strength, and Cinema and Television History is one of those selected. If you are the right person, you will join an established research centre (36% 4* outputs at RAE 2008) with a thriving postgraduate community with its
own blog and annual conference. DMU runs single and joint honours programmes in film and media studies, and we currently do much of our undergraduate teaching at Leicester’s new Phoenix Cinema with state-of-the-art projection facilities, and we have close
working relationships with organisations such as the BECTU union, The Cinema Museum in London, the Women’s Film and Television History Network and the BFI.
