We use the IL Gem blood gas analyser to measure lactates. Putting it onto the gas analyser meant we have not another piece of equipment to look after, train on, keep records on etc. EQA is included with the blood gas samples and we have had no problems with the performance. The cartridges are changed either 21 or 28 days depending on the cartridge size.
