Dear Mailbase
I am hoping that someone out there can assist us with our conundrum.

We have over the years received requests for CSF LDH (approx. 90 per annum) and I noted that the Roche LDH kit insert does not list CSF as a recommended sample type. We are reluctant to offer this test to our users as we are unaware of the pitfalls of using a different sample type and it is not CE marked.
Are any other labs using an LDH assay for CSF or other fluids? I cannot find anything on AssayFinder.
There seems to be a clinical need (?tumours, ?CJD), but, there appears to be no technical solution.

Any feedback would be appreciated.
