The new National Laboratory Medicine Catalogue uses nmol/L and ISO 15189
requires the use of SI Units - so no problem!

Subject: Cobalt and chromium

I know that this was debated a few years ago on the mail base but like
an old penny (copper and tin) it keeps coming back.

For cobalt and chromium analysis in patients with MoM hip replacements:

Are labs measuring these in serum, plasma or whole blood?

Are labs reporting in the quaint old units of ppb which MHRA recommend
or in nmol/L which most biochemists on the planet would probably prefer?
