Hi Eugene
What exactly are you after re: prehistoric. Are you looking neolithic, pre/post neolithic, Bz Age, Iron Age...? BC/AD?

I know of a peacock in a viking burial...but I assume that's later than you're interested...?

cheers
Pam

Hi again, I would like to expand my original query to ANY prehistoric sites. To reiterate, I'm looking for data concerning the presence of unusual species (that is, species found outside of their normal range of distribution) in faunal assemblages, be them contemporary with the rest of the assemblage or intrusive. References would especially be appreciated.

Best,
Eugene
