A colleague of mine is interested in performing MRI analysis on a clinical group, but the group may end up being quite small (1 to 5 people).  Do you know of any functional or structural imaging method that might be valid to use with such a small group (e.g. 5 patients versus 5 controls, 1 patient versus a group of controls, etc.).
