Many of you will be aware of the shocking news that Senate House library at the University of London is going to sell its set of four Shakespeare folios, ostebsibly to raise money to improve user access, etc. Henry Woudhouysen has written a powerful letter of protest to the librarian, Christopher Pressler, and there is mounting pressure on Facebook and other media to try to stop the sale.
