Around 18,000 cancer patients have their medical files lost every year in
hospitals. This impacts on the treatment and quality of care, according to
a leading cancer charity.
The finding comes from a poll conducted for the charity Macmillan Cancer
Support <http://www.macmillan.org.uk/Home.aspx> of U.K. cancer patients.
The survey was carried out by the polling body YouGov.
