A History of Pathology in 50 Objects

Pathologist Dr Suzy Lishman explores a selection of the objects, including historical examples from the museum collection. If you've ever wondered how vaccinations
were developed, why blood is stored in plastic bags, how autopsy instruments have changed over the years or when treatment for diabetes became available, you'll find all the answers at this event.

A Potted History of the Pot

Who’d have thought a pot would be so interesting! Join us to find out why as the museum's curator, Professor Paola Domizio, discusses the history of potting
pathological specimens and how medical teaching has developed. The museum's Assistant Technical Curator, Carla Valentine will then "Re-Flesh the Bones" by discussing the stories behind the specimens.

take you on a journey to explore the secrets in your blood.
