Dear all
Information Literacy Journal Club is an
online discussion group focusing on information literacy and other aspects of user education. I have contributed a blog-post (and a xerte OER) pointing to Gema Bueno-de-la-Fuenta and John Robertson's 2012 report
The roles of libraries and information professionals in Open Educational Resources (OER) initiatives -
http://publications.cetis.ac.uk/2012/492 - and also considering Jorum’s proposed information literacy collection.
It will take the form of a synchronous discussion via the blog at
http://infolitjournalclub.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/open-synergies-and-symbioses-role-of.html and is scheduled for 8pm next Wednesday 25th September. Everyone is welcome to join the discussion which is also promoted on Twitter with #ILread.
Kind regards
Nick Sheppard
