Dear Group

Can anyone educate me please?

A Scaffolder on site had three foot surgeries ten years ago following a fall from a roof (26 feet)a bone graft from his iliac crest was integral in one of the surgeries.

He is in full time employment, and there is no identified additional criteria to his work method statement/risk assessment.
He demonstrated inversion and eversion. Medial and lateral foot movements performed without discomfort, and appears to have normal function/movement.

Orthotics were only needed approx 3 years post surgery. He no longer attends any follow up appointments but is still eligible for a Blue badge - can anyone enlighten me as to why this may be ??

He leads a full active life - scuba diving, Judo etc

Kind Regards,

Annette Leavy
