I have experienced real problems when colleagues have needed OH services and the only one on offer is the in-house. I certainly believe that every OH needs to make external OH arrangements for their own staff.Anna******************************** Please remove this footer before replying.----- Original Message -----From: [log in to unmask]" href="mailto:[log in to unmask]">Sue SpencerTo: [log in to unmask]" href="mailto:[log in to unmask]">[log in to unmask]Sent: Monday, September 16, 2013 1:50 PMSubject: [OCC-HEALTH] inhouse OHhi list******************************** Please remove this footer before replying.
I work in the NHS and was suprised when I was appointed to this position that my own pre employment clearance was done by my colleague- I had nothing to worry about but I'm sure that's not really correct. I challenged it gently once I'd been in post a few months, but does anyone have anything I can refer to in backing my theory up? It s going to cause problems for other staff (admin) as they are not referred outside our Department and I am concerned it opens us up for criticism.
