Dear MEG community,

BrainModes 2013: Criticality, connectivity, and neural masses will take place on 2-3 December 2013 in the Lloyd Hotel in Amsterdam. Registration is now open at http://www.move.vu.nl/en/news-agenda/conferences-and-symposia/brainmodes-2013/index.asp.

“BrainModes” is an annual scientific summit, which seeks to explore innovative means of understanding complex brain activity and multimodal neuroscience data sets. An overview of previous meetings can be found at www.brainmodes.org. General aim of the meetings is to foster an interdisciplinary, open-minded discussion of brain modeling (analytically and numerically) and multivariate data analysis (EEG, MEG, fMRI, etc). The central motif is that of “modes” – that is, understanding how complex brain activity is organized around low dimensional manifolds.

Registration fee is €100 (€50 for students) and includes lunch. Please note that registration is limited to 50 participants.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to e-mail us at [log in to unmask]

We look forward to seeing you in Amsterdam!
