We used the MyTours platform (http://www.mytoursapp.com/). We found the platform easy to use and Glen from MyTours was very helpful and responsive when we had suggestions for updating the templates.
The content was developed by curators and wrangled into the system by a non-technical staffer. We were able to trial the app before publishing which helped us work with a variety of stakeholders before finally publishing to the Apple and Android app stores.
The app is free and you can choose which tour to download from the list - 3 so far and more in the works. You might like to have a look at our industrial tour - happy to follow up if you have any questions or comments...
