The new National Curriculum for England was published late last night.

national-curriculum

Schools have to implement from September 2014 and are curriculum planning
now.

Primary non-specialists might be a bit at sea over the new subject content
for history and the arts. I think now is the opportunity to have a cup of
coffee with local schools and see how you can help them deliver what can be
a very local school curriculum.

Cultural Learning Alliance will be publishing a summary and response to the
new curriculum on our website www.culturallearningalliance.org.uk which you
could use if you are briefing colleagues on the changes.
