Hi All

We never allow the tutors to invigilate we made that mistake many years ago by allowing some hairdressing staff to invigilate their own tests and the students told us that they had been ‘helped’…..‘words explained’…..phrases ‘rephrased’….. etc and so we took over invigilating and booking all exams no  matter what.

It’s good to hear though that we all have the same problem with our staff!

We book and invigilate all exams because we don't trust anyone.  Any team with a problem is obviously hiding something :-)

Hi Sophie

We book and invigilate all plumbing exams even though tutors can invigilate.  Not that we don't trust them of course!

Hi all! I have been speaking to our plumbing department and have a vague recollection of hearing that plumbing lecturers could book and invigilate their own exams.

Is this correct? If so, could someone please let me know which programmes/schemes this applies to and point me to in the direction of this information?

I’m pretty sceptical but said I would look into it,

Many Thanks
