Dear All

 

Am going to have to run some of these exams now :/ .......... but only for our apprentice students!!.

 

 

So i have just a few questions about the Edexcel  on-demand FS ICT tests,  as I  need to try and get my head around the process.

 

 

When we have run the ‘paper-based’ window version of ICT exams

 

I send the data files to our IT department to upload onto our secure area – so they can’t be looked at other than at the designated exam times set up.

 

With these on-demand ICT exams do you save them into a secure area??

 

 

Do you personally download the tests – and how long before would you do this?? Or do you get your IT department to do this??

(our apprentices tend to be in on a Tuesday or Wednesday – so in theory i should be OK to download them the day before)

 

 

Do they still need to be able to access the internet at the beginning of the test?? (like in the ‘paper based’ window version).

 

 

Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated.
