> Pioneer of evolutionary computer art and Professor of Computing at Goldsmiths, University of London, William Latham has drawn together leading practitioners and researchers in digital art and science to discuss and debate their work at a unique one day symposium.

> The MUTATOR 1+2 Symposium, which is free for students to attend, will take place on 21 September at the University of Brighton and the Sallis Benney Theatre Grand Parade, Brighton.

> Open to the general public, this cultural event offers the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the collaboration of art and science across computer art, contemporary art, life sciences, neuroscience and aesthetic digital experiences.

> A wide range of presentation issues will be addressed including the history of mutation; computers in the visual arts; aggregation, flow and cellular forms in generative art; live art and artificial life art; and what is the future of digital art?
