Summary:
Leading biotech company requires an experienced statistician in the UK to support the global oncology drug development portfolio. Working in a matrix team, the successful candidate will plan,
manage and analyse oncology trials primarily for molecules in Phase 2 and 3 but Early Development trials may also be an option. You will also assist in developing strategies for the project clinical development plans
Requirements:
The focus of this role is to;
- Lead Biostatistics activities on Phase 1-3 studies, including both internal and external meetings
- Process information, analyse data, and reach conclusions based on sound reasoning
- Work in a global team, frequently in a matrix manner
- Work on both local and global initiatives to continually improve the drug development process
- Occasional Travel may be required
Your qualifications:
Candidates must have;
- MSc (or equivalent) or PhD in Statistics or very similar area
- Substantial pharmaceutical industry experience in Biostatistics and clinical drug development
- Relevant oncology experience
- Experience in using statistical software (particularly SAS, R or S-Plus).
- Excellent communication skills
