Greetings, *The Urban Research Program at Griffith University* is seeking high achieving PhD applicants to undertake research studies in transport & land use planning. We would particularly welcome applications in the fields of urban travel behaviour, urban freight, public transport network planning and the governance and financing of transportation infrastructure. Successful applicants should have a minimum of first class honours in a relevant discipline (including a research component equating to one full time semester of study), or equivalent research experience, with publications in refereed international journals highly desirable. *Remuneration* Scholarship packages, which are awarded on a competitive basis, include an annual living allowance of AUD $24,653 (2013 rate, indexed annually) and $1,000 on commencement of PhD. Students can apply for additional funds up to AUD $6,500 for conference attendance and research expenses following confirmation. The top-ranked applicant studying a transport and land use planning topic in the 2013 round will further be awarded a once off top-up scholarship of $5,000 upon confirmation.
